What is CBD?

CBD, which is also known as cannabidiol, is the second most active ingredient in cannabis. While it is an important part of medical marijuana, it does not necessarily need to come from marijuana plants and can instead be found in hemp or created in a lab setting.

Unlike marijuana, CBD does not induce a “high” and pure CBD has been proven by the World Health Organization to not be addictive or have any adverse effects/issues. 

Is CBD safe for pets?

CBD is not only safe for your pet to ingest or use topically, but also has many health benefits that can be taken advantage of as well! The National Animal Supplement Council (known as the NASC) has recently released a study that states that CBD can be used long-term. Findings from that same study also proved that long-term use of CBD had no adverse effects on healthy, adult dogs. 

On top of that, it is highly unlikely that your dog will overdose on CBD when given the proper dosage.
