We had the opportunity to sit down with Nancy Guinn, owner and founder, about the things we do for our pets, what it means to be Dog Krazy, and, of course, upping the ante of pet care.

Meet a Pup Named Piglet

Dog Krazy got its name – and its start – thanks to a bulldog named Piglet. Nancy, who “wanted to spend every moment of her life” with Piglet, opened the very first Dog Krazy nearly two decades ago with the simple goal of making sure everyone knew who Piglet was and how much of an impact she had on the lives around her. 

Though Piglet passed in 2016, Nancy remains as dedicated to her goal as ever and has continued to grow Dog Krazy throughout the years. What started as one location with a commitment to providing only the best of the best has since spread to eight different locations that continue to offer hand-selected, organic and natural products, as well as customized grooming solutions. 

Giving Back the Dog Krazy Way

Not only is Dog Krazy a place where passionate pet parents can find the perfect product for their dog or cat, it’s also a staple of the local community and a business that regularly gives back. Whether that be through events or charities, Dog Krazy is involved in improving the lives of all pets, even the ones still looking for their forever homes. 

Upping the Ante on Pet Care

Dog Krazy has been carrying Antelope products for over twelve years. Staff and customers alike can’t get enough of Super Snouts Pumpkin Latte, and for good reason! Did you know that Piglet’s face is actually printed on the packaging? When asked what upping the ante on pet care meant to her, Nancy said that it was all about “raising the standards on pet care.” 

Not only has Dog Krazy been carrying Antelope treats, gently-cooked foods, and supplements for over twelve years, but they’re also big fans of our products and our mission.
