It’s the most wonderful time of the year and what better way to spread holiday cheer than by cooking up some festive foods for your dog or cat? We’ve put together some of our favorite holiday recipes that are easy and fun ways to include your pet in any celebration.
Pumpkin Spice Martini
What you’ll need:
- Super Snouts FIRM UP!
- Goat’s Milk
- Pumpkin purée
- Cinnamon
- Organic whipped cream (optional)
- Bocce’s Candy Cane Dental Stick
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients into a blender and mix for about a minute
- Serve your dog in a plastic martini cup
- Garnish with whipped cream and Bocce’s Candy Cane Dental Stick
Peanut Butter Pancakes
What you’ll need:
For the cake:
- Natural peanut butter
- Olive oil
- Mashed banana
- Honey
- Oat flour
- Baking soda
- Baking powder
For the frosting:
- Mashed banana
- Peanut butter
- Bocce’s Nutcracker Crunch
Instructions:
For the cake:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray or use liners
- Mix peanut butter, oil, banana, and honey
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and baking powder until combined
- Place in muffin pan
- Bake 10-20 minutes, until browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Cool completely before frosting
For the frosting:
- Mix mashed banana and peanut butter together
- Frost the cupcakes
- Garnish with Bocce’s Nutcracker Crunch
- Serve
Holiday Applesauce
What you’ll need:
- Chopped peeled apples
- Cinnamon
- Honey
- Bocce’s Fireside Apple Pie Soft & Chewy treats
Instructions:
- Combine apples and cinnamon in a Dutch oven
- Cover & cook over medium to low heat for 30 to 40 minutes (or until the apples are tender), while stirring occasionally
- Remove from heat and stir in honey
- Mash apples slightly (optional)
- Garnish with Bocce’s Fireside Apple Pie Soft & Chewy treat and serve
And for the picky cats in your life, try serving them up some classic delicacies like cat-cuterie boards, catnip tea, or purrfect holiday “cookies.”
Cat-cuterie Boards
What you’ll need:
- A cutting board (bonus points if it’s in a fun shape!)
- Bocce’s freeze-dried treats in any protein
- Your cat’s favorite squeezable treat
- A sprinkle of catnip
- Their favorite pate
- Bocce’s Fish Wellington crunchy cat treats
- Optional: a silicone mold to shape the pate with
Directions:
- Optional: shape the pate with your silicone mold
- On your cutting board, arrange the treats around the pate
- Finish with a sprinkle of catnip
- Serve and enjoy
Catnip and Herb Tea
What you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp of catnip
- Super Snouts Urinary Berry supplement
- Ark Naturals Gentle Digest capsules
- A tea strainer
- Water
Directions:
- Microwave water for 30 to 45 seconds or until warm but not scalding hot
- In your tea strainer, add the catnip, a scoop of Urinary Berry, and one opened Gentle Digest capsule
- Let steep for 3 to 4 minutes
- Cool to room temperature
- Serve and enjoy in your cat’s favorite bowl
Purrfect No-Bake Holiday Cookies
What you’ll need:
- Your cat’s favorite canned cat food
- Catnip
- Bocce’s Chickn Pot Pie crunchy cat treats
- Super Snouts Joint Power powder
- A silicone mold
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the canned cat food, the Bocce’s cat treats, and a scoop of the Super Snouts Joint Power
- Place the mixture into your silicone mold
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes
- Garnish with catnip
- Serve and enjoy!
